Get to know me

Thank you for taking the time to try and get to know me. I don’t feel like anything about me is particularly special or unique, but I still enjoy sharing ideas and my thoughts.

I’m originally from California. My parents were immigrants from Mexico. I grew up in California up until 2017 when I moved to Virginia and my life pretty much changed overnight. I’m a stay at home mom and have two kids (4y and 7m) with my partner in life Tim. Tim and I met at a League of Legends event and fate kind of took over at that point. Tim is a professional full-time League of Legends streamer on Twitch, so I’ve learned a lot about long-form content from helping with his streams since 2017 until now, and managing his YouTube channel from 2017-2022 (and a bit in 2024). 

I have a Bachelors in Marketing Management, and also studied graphic design in college. I was originally a computer science major, but I ended up going a different path. 

I have always loved learning, but school was never my thing. It was a bit challenging for me to finally finish school and it’s one of my biggest accomplishments. I’ve never been too good with words either, so I started writing to help me articulate my thoughts better and to document my ideas, feelings and interests. Photography has also been a way for me to collect memories and capture emotions. I love storytelling in all shapes and forms.

I’d love to create content on social media, but I often talk myself out of doing so out of fear of being judged or rejected. I hope that opening up here will allow me to open up on other platforms, as well. 

My goal with this blog is to share my perspective on various interests of mine, capture memories, record ideas, document what I’ve learned in a variety of topics, and most of all to connect with other like-minded individuals. Please say hello if you’re here!
