5 Birthday Gift Ideas for Streamers

Date:

Share post:

If you’re shopping for someone who streams or wants to start streaming, this is the perfect guide for you. I have been in the streaming world since 2014. I streamed a few years myself as a fun hobby, and my partner (Tim) has been a professional streamer for over 10 years now.

I will mostly be covering what I believe are the main essentials when it comes to streaming. The first item on the list is actually a curation of items, and all of these are awesome, work together, and essential. If they’re just getting started, they most likely haven’t invested in this gear yet so you don’t need to worry about gifting them products they already have.

You may also consider looking over this post for yourself if you’re starting to stream, as it goes over all the essential equipment for a perfect stream setup.

Clickable List

  1. Anything from Elgato
  2. RGB Wall Lights
  3. Gaming Chair
  4. Gaming Monitor
  5. Gaming Headset
  6. Divoom Speaker (if they have all the gear they need – this is a great gift)
  7. Bonus Idea

Anything from Elgato

The reason I’m not being too specific here is that I can guarantee that whether you purchase an Elgato Stream Deck, Key Light, or Facecam, they will absolutely love it. Plus, I didn’t want this to become an Elgato gifting guide. Seriously though – their products are awesome, and most of my stream peripherals are by Elgato.

These are all products I use and love from Elgato:

RGB Wall Lights

This gift is perfect if your giftee is looking to make their streaming setup look more aestheticly pleasing. I have the Nanoleaf Elements Wood Look Hexagons (Smarter Kit (7 Panel)) but based on reviews, these lights are also great by Hexiher.

What’s great about these is you can change the color depending on your mood, or what vibe you’re trying to create for your stream. They can also change colors depending on the music you’re listening to. Super fun gift.

An Ergonomic Gaming Chair

A quick Amazon search for Ergonomic Gaming Chairs will yield great results from great brands. I personally use a Herman Miller gaming chair and it’s fantastic, however it is quite pricey. (It was a hand-me down!)

These are some more budget-friendly options, to save you time:

A Gaming Monitor

My ASUS ROG (Republic of Gaming) Monitor has lasted me over 5 years and counting. The quality is superb and the games I play (mostly League) look amazing on it. I highly recommend this one but they have some higher-end ones and even some more budget-friendly versions as well. If the streamer in your life already has a monitor, don’t worry. Having 2 monitors is actually recommended while streaming.

A Gaming Headset

There are so many headsets to choose from so, here’s a few I would recommend or purchase personally. I use the SteelSeries Arctis 7P Wireless Gaming Headset, and I love it. It has a long battery life, it’s convenient, and it fits well. Plus, it’s white and fits my stream setup aesthetic. This one is also great.

Divoom Speaker (new addition)

I added this as a 6th gift idea because I recently received mine and absolutely love it! It is so cute and functional. The quality is superb and even my daughter loves it, too! Use this link (Affiliate) to get 10% off! Or buy it on Amazon.

Bonus: Twitch Gift Subscriptions

There is nothing more wonderful than receiving Twitch Gifted subs on your birthday. If you’re familiar with your giftee’s Twitch stream (and they know you are) then show them some love on stream. Try gifting them 50 subs! The more the better! 🙂

Happy Gifting

I really hope this short guide helps you pick your beloved streamer the perfect gift. I’m positive that they’ll be happy with any of the gifts mentioned and you can top each of these birthday gifts off with some Gifted Twitch Subs on their stream! Shop the full Amazon list here.

I'm a mom of 2 that loves PC gaming. My partner has streamed League of Legends for over 10 years! So there's a lot of League/tech in this house.
